Lifted from the NHS Employers Website:

Quote:
Pay Circular (AfC) 1/2006
25 May 2006

We are pleased to announce that we have received confirmation today that the staff side of the Pay Negotiating Council (PNC) has accepted the pay offer of a 2.5% increase for all staff covered by the PNC for 2006/7. This is in line with the award for nurses and other health professionals from the NOHPRB that was accepted by the Government in March.

We have issued pay circulars with new Agenda for Change pay scales to pay roll providers and are sending the information to trusts. This should enable the new rates to be paid to staff in their June pay packages.

Brill, 2.5% @ band 6 = holiday in Cullompton - at least they make nice icecream there.

Locality humour

Cheers

8 pints of dry Blackthorn = not a bad night out +
Ham sandwich and a bottle of Chardonnay night-cap. Rounds the night off nicely. Ah, I'm in don't give a f*ck land.

Sweet dreams

Mark

Thanks for sharing that - I guess you'll be giving your 2.5% to charity again this year. wink

Richard,

'Don't give a f*ck land' is a sort of retreat from the real world that I like to go to sometimes. If you let it, the real world could screw you up.

Real world -

Inflation - 2.6%
Council Tax up 4.7%
Elec/Gas up 64%
Pay rise - 2.5%
Stealth taxes - haven't got a bloody clue.

Have a good weekend

Cheers
Mark

We all have to pay our way in the real world unfortunately. I'll take that as a no then.

Oops, sorry, missed that one.

My chosen charity, for the next 3 years',will be financing my son through college. Now, that's a worthy cause.

Cheers

As I said, we all have to pay our way. Free rides are few and far between in my life experience.

What will be, will be... There must be a French saying for that.

Here, I've had a free ride or two - seafaring days, they'd love to pluck a cherry.. in my experience!

There is life, outside the box.

Cheers

There seems to be some assuming they will get the 2.5% - If you end up on protected pay you won't!

Bonjour Mark,

Si j'avais le choix je mangerais des pêches chaque jour. Les cerises laissent un mauvais goût dans ma bouche. La communication est une chose merveilleuse, hein? Vous êtes bien informé.
