EBME Forums Forums Management Equipment Libraries Library Stationery

We have a well established library within the trust but are looking to expand it in the near future. We have a software package etc but are also looking int some kind of card system for booking in and out, especially out of hours. If any one uses this type of system I would be interested to know where you get the cards etc.

Thanks

Hi Darren,

We have been running a card system for some time now. The system we use is a two part label which is attached to the equipment. When the equipment is collected, the bottom part is completed and detached so we know where the equipment is destined. The top part is completed when the equipment is finished with and cleaned and the decontamination section on the label comleted, on the reverse details of any faults can be reported.

The company we use is:

Circuitape Ltd.
1 Browell Lane
Feltham
Middlesex
TW13 7EQ
Tele: 020 8890 3037

If you want a copy of our policy which tells how the system works, feel free to email me or give me a buzz.

regards

paul.

Paul, I would appreciate a copy pof the policy, and if possible a sample tag would be great.

Hi Darren,

You should find a copy of the policy in your in-box.
