We are looking at feeding pumps at the moment and the Tyco looks like a good unit on paper. How did you find them in use and why have you stopped using them ?

ROY,
HAVE A LOOK UNDER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, FEEDING PUMPS FROM ME. THERE IS ALSO AN MDA REPORT COMING OUT. YOU NEED TO GET THEM ALL IN AND TEST THEM WITH REGARDS TO FREE FLOW ETC.

We haven't used any of the Tyco pumps for over 3 years as the Nut & Diet Dept decided to go for one of these "all in" contracts. The feed, service, pumps etc all in one price to the trust. So when the contract was awarded to abbott the Tycos were retired. I have also a range of spare parts for the K224 pump if anyone wanted them. The K224 was OK - it suffered a bit with batteries dying but have a look at the new evaluation for the up to date models. Paul

Sorry, but I don't see anything in the "feeding pumps" folder relating to the Tyco pumps. Your entry only refers to the Novartis pumps. Am I looking in the wrong place ?
