We audited our manuals about 4 weeks ago and I think the defunct manuals went in the bin.
If we've stashed them somewhere, you can have them FOC. I'll ask in the morning. smile

Id be very careful what you reply to this one. rolleyes
Lots of service manuals are given to the actual person whos done the training for use in their workplace.
Theres at least one supplier who goes to great lenghts to enphasise that you should not copy, sell, loan or give their service manuals to anyone who has not done the training.

We've got some old manuals, lifepak 7, S&W quadrascope, Flogard 6100, other bits and bobs.
They aren't in the bin yet, if you are interested give me a call.

Thanks for the responses.

I've just had a twang of conscience after reading my post. Although in the NHS for 16 years I have now left to start my own company with an old colleague Warwick.

We are called Hugo Technology Ltd and supply an independent EBME service.

If you would like to change your responses due to this info no offence will be taken.

Member profile change comming soon.

Take care

Andrew

What wise words were obviously spoken by Mr Mundy before this latest revelation.

I can't help thinking the thought in my head "Oh what a tangled web we weave..."

Please enlighten us further Andrew as to your new found venture into the "private" sector.

It seems like you've managed to obtain some of the characteristics of these "companies" we deal with quite quickly ..i.e. deceitfullness, maniplulation, truth evasion etc etc

Absoblinkinloutely Dave, yourself and Karl are
clearly not as naive as some others.
Buying a Haynes manual does not make you a
qualified car mechanic.

What's the matter with some people in this country?
We are always knocking people who are willing to try something different. Is it just a case of the green eyed monster rearing his ugly head.
What's wrong with being an entrepreneur. He's obviously got the experience to go it alone. I say good on him for having the balls to give it a go.
Get off his back and give the guy a break!

I presume I'm the Green Eyed monster so I'll respond to Mr Mallow, yes, I do have an ugly head but that's a genetic thing and outside my control, unfortunately frown

I'm not knocking Andrew P for "trying something different" unless you of course think mis-leading people as to where the service manuals were intended to go is acceptable.

I like many others, probably, look at the profiles to see where the "pitch" is coming from.
For a 6 week period Andrew P's post appeared to be a request from a fellow NHS biomed for assistance.

Today's disclaimer actually reveals the true attention. Why, as an "entrepreneur", hasn't he put his request for Service information to the O'E.M's.
Maybe he has and maybe they've told him to "pis* off" , I know many out there who would.

I've no objection to anyone "going it alone", even though he does state there are two of them eek ,my problem is the apparent deception which I think he even alludes to in today's post.

If you think, Mr Mallow, that this attempt to deceive people is acceptable then I'm afraid I must class you as that other erstwhile relation of yours, Marsh, slightly soft and lacking consistency. rolleyes
