Does anyone know where I can get replacement elements for the 183 Radiant Warmer?Or is it a dead duck?

No,it's not a silly question,but they do not support this model ,or have any spares anywhere,although their computer briefly believed otherwise

It's a few years ago, but we had an element fail on an even older airshields resuscitaire and one of my resourcefull chaps took it into a local wholesaler of "white goods" spares and discovered it was an element out of a cooker grill or something ! It only cost us a few quid (compared to several tens of quid from Vickers !) and worked fine. If your desperate, it's worth a try.

We don't have Model 183 Radiant Warmers here. Can you let me know the specification of the element, we may have one in stock if I can match it. Part Number, Manufacturer, power rating, dimensions, etc, etc. If we hae one you can have it F.O.C.

Sorry to be so long in responding,the heater is a silica glass tube,400W 240 v,and is
463mm long,and10mm diameter,the vickers part no. was 183-09-001,the contacts are a slightly domed aluminium stud.I have tried
e-mailing these details but have got errors returned.
