Does anybody know of a single vendor who can offer a comprehensive calibration service on all of the common test equipment ?
Also can anybody advise on a suitable pc software package, dedicated to monitoring information\calibration dates ??

We use a local test house who very kindly collects all of our equipment for recalibration and does it either themselves or sends it on to the relevant house for them to do it. They don't charge anything on top of the recalibration fee, no postage. This makes it so much easier for us - one telephone number, one invoice. My suggestion would be to ring a local test house and ask if they could do something similar.

We split our test equipment between three test houses. Pullman Instruments do our oscilloscopes (tel.01423 888652). ServiceCal Ltd. do the multimeters and assorted bits and pieces including electronic thermometers (tel.0161 789 8990) and we are getting Ultramedic in Liverpool to do our Rigel 244 and 255 safety testers (tel. 0151 228 0354)
Pullman and ServiceCal collect the equipment and bring it back at no extra cost, even though we split it into three lots so we weren't left without any test equipment for a week !
Today is the day you worried about yesterday - and all is well !
