Help required by a new member. Can anyone help with obtaining a power supply for a TAEMA OSIRIS 2 portable ventilator. Just 2 years old and it seems a shame to scrap it on it's birthday. Have tried the ALM site in France and the psu manufacturer Egston. Suggestions please.

Thank you for the prompt response. I have contacted them, however the department closes at 1.30 on Friday, but I am assured that they do have such items and I have been given a contact name of Darren Boyce to phone on Monday. Once again thanks and you might like to know that you amswered a question that stumped "Apollo".

William.
I am not suprised that you received the info that you were seeking, I have found that this site is the electronic version of the "fount of all knowledge". I am but a new boy, figurativly speaking, although advanced in age. We are fortunate that there are so many wise men associated with this profession who are willing to share their accumulated knowledge. Many thanks to those "Oracles"

jUST FOR CURIOSITY
(Opps Caps lok off)

How many power supplies have been replaced on your Taema vent?

I think that these PSU's are not really upto the job, as we seem to be replacing them every couple of months or so. It would appear that they seem to go O/C. But being a sealed unit, have not yet been tempted to open one up.
We tend to just get them swapped for new-uns under warranty.

Has anyone had similar experience of this phenonenon ?

Beleive it or not several hours after my
response to the origional question the think was
dropped, broke the earth pin off.
I have spoken to the supplier and they are aware of the cheapness of this item and are looking at replacing it with something more robust.
