Delivery times on spares is getting quite long, at the moment. Have not seen a Graseby Rep in years.

Poor response, lengthy delays resulting in meeting with Graseby (Smith's) reps. Progress being made, albeit slowly.

Not seen a rep for years ! Or maybe it just feels that long. They didn't even have any field service engineers at one point, although they seem to be available now - if you ask nicely !

The only things we've got of theirs now are the Rapid Infusors in A&E and the good old MS26 (loads of them !)

Today is the day you worried about yesterday - and all is well !

For a bit of balance, our local rep visited today, and we requisitioned an order for spares yesterday, will see how long it takes but I have not experienced any serious delays previously.

The last rep I saw was the brilliant and ever so friendly Mike Threlkeld. But that was in the Northwest, he has since finished, mores the pity... rolleyes

There must a law of physics lurking about somewhere that states that all these modern companies were much better (ie, more responsive to the needs of their customers) when they were smaller and independent (and struggling to survive, no doubt). We all know what happens once small, efficient companies are swallowed up by large groups of suits! I could make a list here and now, if any of you guys are too young to remember that Golden Age of British medical equipment manufacturers (...but will spare you now the depressing details). frown

I think it also has a lot to do with the "modern" way of conducting business ie. concentrate on how many bucks can be made rather than supplying solutions for the customer.
Cynical or what?!!!!
