As of 01/10/04 you would be on £23442 going to £24198 on 1/4/05 and up to 25188 in June 05(incremental date). As of 1/4/06 you would have been on £25818 and this month go up to £26720. I would not expect you to get an awful lot of backpay since you were still getting whitley increments, at a guess around £650 before tax or £450 net.

i was on top top of mto2 with 3*. I think the problem was as suggesed. That of very poor communications as to how the back pay was worked out. Essentially i was banded one point from the top of the band 5 from oct 2004 and i had to wait untill oct 2005 for the increment to the top of the band. I still feel they have been very sneaky as the letter I ot stating my banding showed me at the top point so i just assumed i was at the top point as of oct 2004.

What is odd tho is the huge ammount of variation in what staff have been getting. for example 2 members of staff who were at the same point on the mto2 scale and are now on the same point of the band 5 scale got very different ammounts.. £2000 compared to £400... just doesnt seem to make much sense.

It would be nice just to be banded, never mind back pay!

Weve been told not to expect to be banded before Nov 06 if we are lucky. The interest the NHS must be making on our money and back pay must be going towards paying the Doctors pay rise.

I thought that NHS Trusts had specific targets to reach as far as assimilation goes? some fines from the SHA's?

NOV 06 sounds like a joke!

Double D is from Scotland, where they waited to see how AFC went wrong in England before starting. So they're about a year behind us and carefully following all our mistakes wink

Our JD's were completed, signed and handed to the appropriate crowd dealing with them April 05. My manager was very pro-active in driving us to agree the JD's.
