How to define a Nurse?
Place nurse within a secure and totally empty room with two ball bearings
Lock door for some 15 minutes
Open door to find that nurse has lost one and broken the other

How to define a Sister/Charge Nurse
Place Sister/Charge Nurse within a secure and totally empty room with two ball bearings
Lock door for some 15 minutes
Open door to find that Sister/Charge Nurse has lost one and broken the other
The difference between Nurse and Sister/Charge Nurse ?
They then go on to blame the night staff!!!

To any member of the Nursing profession who may read this
“I'm only joking” – Honest!!!

Hey Dave, The way I heard it was the Cannonball Theory and there were 3.
The third Cannonball had a piece of micropore stuck on it with " Keep plugged In at all times " wink

Being nice to nurses is a form of insurance. You never know when your going to end up on their ward !
Be warned !
It's the same as treating your children well. It's them who will decide which nursing home you end up in.

Today is the day you worried about yesterday - and all is well !

Wise words Roy you never know when your going to need pain relief at 02:00hrs do you?
On a slightly more serious note do the night staff have easy access to EBME services at night? If so how does the system work, on call or shift work?

Shouldn't this type of 'discussion' be under the 'Out of Hours' section?
What happened to professional integrity?
