You are right. Nothing beats the sound of Yank Tank V8. One day they might design a car that goes around corners.

I have a Rice Rocket (Toyota Celica) now that can go around corners but sounds like high pitch dentist drill.

The C4/C5/C6 Corvettes can hold their own against most other coupes and sports cars. I certainly haven't noticed any downsides apart from a bit of oversteer which I like anyway.

I live in the country down 12 miles of twisty blacktop that the bikers round these parts have a real hard on for.. but the real rulers are the guys with the STI's and EVO's. Wet or dry those things never need to slow down.

...shame they're so ugly! HAR! HAR!

Speaking of looks, checkout the new 2008 HEMI powered Dodge Challenger, I love how the US is remaking these musclecars again... Why can't we see the Capri comeback as a retrostyle coop... Make rear wheel drive fashionable again!!

Dodge..

Well exitwound, the Dodge Challenger certainly looks retro, but stylish? I don't think so!!
Surely these "muscle cars" (so called) have been designed with large engines, loads of grunt and little else. The power to weight ratio and the bhp/litre is crap on these American cars because the Yanks have absolutely no idea about non straight roads and speeds above 55mph!!!!

As an owner with red leather seats i can appreciate your style , exit wound.

But I'm afraid i would be lost without my cruise control and the little limiter that stops you speeding. Gadgets on cars - don you love 'em!
