Has anyone experienced any difficulties with the Philips Trim series ECG recorders?

We have problems with the lead connector (which should be placed in the bracket at the top back of the machine). The lead connecting to the machine from this connector has presented problems with poor connection.
Also on the Trim 1, the set up screen is not ideal.

On the Trim II we've had the mains connector pulling out the back, power supply failure and problems with paper being screwed up during printing which was sorted by a updated paper tray. All problems were sorted under warranty.

We had problems with the paper being chewed up when printing.

Fortunately, it appeared during acceptance testing, so we failed it as not suitable for purpose and refused to put it in service until the problem was solved.

Of course, we were the only people in the world to have this problem according to the manufacturer!

Could some one please be more elaborate about the problems with Philips Trim.We have decided to buy one Trim 2.Compared to their earlier model this model is not very friendly with regards to menu selection.

Paper feeding problems.
More PIM modules changed than I can remember.
The weak area as mentionind is the cabling.
Buggers when the battery is flat as it is 'intelligent' and can take 2 days to respond to charge - yes 2 days it is not a typo.

This equipment is going to be expensive once out of warranty.

Hi All
Is there any fair suggestion about current ECG mahine manufacturer and any good model to reccomend for a major cardiology Centre?
Userfriendly,Sturdy, trouble free performance and cost effectiveness are the major concerns than Interpretations and software hi fi.
Your inputs are highly welcome.
