If you want simple and effective with low gas consumption look at
the BabyPAC from Pneupac a section of Smiths Medical(Pneumatic drive) or if you want more functionality the Fabian from Acutronic is another option (battery life 2 hrs)

I believe the Draeger Babylog 2 and Babylog 2000, that normally come with the Draeger transport incubator, are available as stand alone units. They run off external batteries, internal batteries, or if you do not want alarms, gas power alone.
Though I would agree with Jill, the BabyPac is worth a look.

Is the "support" from Pneupac any better now they have joined forces with Smiths??
I dont think draeger supply the Babylog 2000 anymore, but dont quote me on that.

My recent experience of Pneupac "support" was awful unfortunately. I personally would avoid them like the plague.

there are many important parameters to choose a good Neonatal Transport Ventilator such as gas consumption ,the ability to use car battery or lighter socket, the battery life,range of FiO2,ventilation modes,size and weight of device .

I can second this, they never have the information you need and never return calls - it's not just the Pneupac products either.

i think this is a common problem.
