Exactly Chris, every hospital I've worked in has it's own 'test to destruction' nurses!

Our Tendar last year for Anaesthesia devices was sub devided into the following 4;
Theatre Anaesthesia machines.
Theatre Anaesthesia monitors.
Induction Room Anaesthesia machines.
Induction room/ Recovery monitors.
The Tendar had a 60% weighting, (score) to Anaesthetic Consultants, the balance to the Anaesthetic Tec's.

This system worked very well with respective company's and internal resources. Please note it did resolve that only 2 Anaesthesia machine providers met the Tendar proformers and 3 Monitoring providers. For the record we selected Dragar Primus for theatres, Anmedic Kite's for induction room with a mixture of G.E/Datex monitoring throughout, and have been very pleased with our choices - not a single problem post 1 year.
