EBME Forums Forums Management Recruitment Working else where?

Hello all, Long time since been on this site.

However, I am looking for a change and was considering New Zealand, to you and I, a land a long long long way away.

Has anyone any experience of or contacts for EBME jobs in this distant land? I have done all the usual searches but can't find much at all.

Ok I have a few years experience, not all fantastic, but never the less useful....lol

Any useful advice please?

Your first port of call should be the NZ embassy. Have you contacted them yet? They should be able to give you addresses of Hospitals, any special requirements, etc. regards John.

Hi gents,
I have also been considring a move to OZ or NZ. I belive you have to have a certificate of competency to work with electrical appliances and installations. Does anyone know of any EBME types that have made the succesful transition out there?

Look at the NZ Immigration Website, tells you all you need to know about securing a work permit. Bit more to it than a certificate of competency I'm afraid.
