Apologies, it's the Datex Light batteries we had problems with.

From memory when I was on the dark side & installed a large number of Dashs in one particular hospital we (GE agent) purchased a battery conditioner from a company in Canada - www.cadex.com
That with a couple of spare batteries seemed to do the trick with regard the long turn-a-round required to condition the batteries.
