With the Great British Midwinter Closedown (aka the Christmas Getaway) just about upon us, my thoughts are with any of you joining the millions already taking to the roads (or to the skies) on their annual pilgrimage home. Take care and have a safe, and stress-free, journey!

To those of you working during the holiday, I would say "lucky you"! It is, after all, a great chance to be catching up on a few things. Generally in jolly and convivial surroundings, too, I might add. Unfortunately, I have no work on myself this year.

Otherwise, I would like to wish all my Biomed Buddies, wherever they may be, not only a Peaceful, Relaxing (and Warm) Christmas but also (and more importantly), a Good Feast. I hope to be seeing some of you during the coming year as I once again wander the lonely back-corridors, sheds and basements of Biomed. smile
