I just wanted to know if someone can give me an idea about NITRONOX (same as ENTONOX in the UK). We are looking for a replacement and we have been quoted with MATRX Digital MDM unit which is a continuous flow device. Unlike NITRONOX which is a demand valve flow system. I have tried giving them with ENTONOX but they prefer to get a latest new device that could deliver 50/50 premix of Gas (N2O/O2). Entonox has an issues with cylinders here in Canada, where they have a backlog or delay of cylinder gas. Do someone knows a compatible replacement that uses a demand valve system? Thanks for any suggestion.

Thanks for your response. Nitronox uses a wall gas outlet and a separate O2/N2O E-size cylinder, which is much more convenient here in Canada. I was told that in Toronto hospital they are using Entonox but they are having problem with delays in getting pre-mix gas cylinders.

So you have a labour ward up there? Is Montfort a Maternity Hosp? Actually I am employed by CHEO-Children Hospital of Eastern Ontario but presently based at the Montfort Hospital here in Ottawa. CHEO is the Regional Biomed in the whole Ottawa Valley consisting of 12 hospitals. Montfort Hospital is a university medical centre offering acute primary and secondary care and services.

How's your French, then, Jesse? Parlez-vous français?

How's your French, then, Jesse? Parlez-vous français? You will surprised I am not. They are all bilingual here, it's long story why I am here. They are all very nice people around here and I have no complain. I am beginning to learn some of the conversational French and hopefully more. Merci

Vous êtes une longue voie de Québec, mon ami! Et je crois que l'anglais peut ne pas être votre première propre langue, non plus.
