Well, Mate ... that's twice you've mentioned it. But let's just say that if the "Bird" can't keep his little beak shut (about "commercial in confidence" matters involving Yours Truly), then I expect I shall have to revert to the status quo ante. smile

I was "pulling your leg" but it was obviously a mistake. It was I who suggested your good self. No offence meant.

And none taken, I can assure you, Mate. But as I was in the offices of the "bird of prey" less than three months ago, I would have thought it unlikely that he would have forgotten all about me just yet. Especially as, since then, I've been on two missions of the "wild goose chase up the garden path" variety, if you know what I mean. Both against my better judgment, I might add (and my reservations proved to be well-founded in both cases).

The guy knows very well that I am disinclined to work through agents (any of them) these days. For reasons that you yourself will be very much aware of, I've had enough of all that. And that's a situation that I can't see changing now, regardless of the whereabouts of the job site. smile

... but, anyway, back on topic. Any luck with Therapy Equipment yet, Jesse?

Hello Jesse,

Just got back from a lovely Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. Glad to see you are settled in Canada. Small world.... smile

I would say that the main suppliers of Entonox regs in the UK are GE (Datex Ohmeda) and Therapy Equipment.

Yes the locals in Qatar are friendly, the immigration officer even greeted me in tagalog.

I just came from a long weekend and visited Toronto with my family. It's great to be away for while from hectic work. I guess your my kababayan, welcome and nice knowing you know some of friends in Biomed in Hamad General Hospital. Yes I know Yayah Taher, they were new when I met them fresh from school. Actually they are about 4 to5 Qataris that came. One of them is my previous trainee in Anesthetic and now the Director of Biomed in Hamad Hospital. They are a bunch of very nice people, we have such a good time taking time out all together in Biomed going to farther places I have never seen before like underground cave with fresh water!!! in the middle of the desert?. Thats was a long time and now they are running the department professionaly as trained. The smiling faces is the small but with big heart is Rey Asis. He was my friend and a trainer in Laboratory maintenance. He is such a an adorable guy that everyone like him until now. I know the original guys in Engineering way back in 1982. My family and I had such a nice memories of Doha.
Good luck to you and which hospital do you worked now?
I guess you should try Canada, we have great opportunities here Biomed guys like you. Today, I was told we need two more in our department but you have to be a resident or I mean immigrant.
Cheers

Just came back from a long weekend to Toronto. Yeah they did contacted me and I did send them an email reply. Latest we will be going for MATRX Mixer instead of ENTONOX, the reason is, we were told that Toronto Hospital are having issues on the supply of premix gas cylinder from GE Medical.
Thanks anyways.

Cheers

Hey John,
It's been a while since our kingdom days. Hope you are well with the family of course. Just got back from my own long weekend in Toronto a good 4 hours drive from Ottawa. It's good if you have youre kid's or I mean grown up daughter driving one way and me driving the other half. We went with my family for short but expensive shopping with the grown-ups.
Cheers and welcome back to the forum.
