The Cardiac Science ECG leads for the Powerheart G3 Pro are also dated, again I believe due to a battery and I believe the unit is sealed, so you can't change it yourself.
On the basis of this and the fact that the defib will still analyse and monitor via the pads, we only fit them on two AEDs used for high risk transport within the hospital.
