we are about to procure oncology equipments where as we have confusion about financial viability to have SPECT in the facility although we already have GAmma Camera in place.
if you suggest to have both then please give me 2-3 points comparative.

From Wikipedia - Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT, or less commonly, SPET) is a nuclear medicine tomographic imaging technique using gamma rays.
SPECT imaging is performed by using a gamma camera to acquire multiple 2-D images (also called projections), from multiple angles.
So you need a gamma camera to perform SPECT but since you already have a gamma camera, then probability is high that your machine can do SPECT. The technology isn't new and i can remember gamma cameras we had distributed/sold more than 15 years ago had these already.
For financial viability, it would be best to do a feasibility study of your project using parameters and variables related to your area.
