Datex-Ohmeda do a nice hydraulic one. Or you could try MEC Medical.

Regarding "calibration" ... you can get that done wherever it is you get your spanners and pliers calibrated! smile

Never mind. Myself, I've found that one of the nice things about growing older is ... all that [censored] that I used to think was so important, well it just doesn't matter any more! It probably never did. If only someone (older, wiser, avuncular) had put me right all those years ago! frown

You would not have listened!

I've got two teenagers, I know.

Getting back to the original post, the Datex Ohmeda hydraulic crimper is very good (but it's very heavy)

Hi Neil, the only RS one I can find run into the £'000's of pounds, may get my wrists slapped but if the NHS is going into debt as the doom mongers predict, I may as well start the ball rolling

Anybody know of a company that will certificate you in re-crimping hoses, as the majority of the gas therapy equipment suppliers are shying away from this service.

From what I remember...nurse....the hose should be date stamped in such a way that it is disposed of after a number of years. It used to be 3 digit letter code by most manufacturers, or I could be dreaming it again. We have gone for replacing hoses after 3-5 years and found it was as cheap as getting any checked. We just need to make the odd 12.76 meter MA7 hose up every now and then in an emergency..usually someones fridge compressor or tyres need blowing up or mri scanner room

Have a word with Therapy Equipment about getting unusual specials made up they are usually very obliging and no hassle of expensive tools and certification.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
