Need I mention also that "extra funding" becomes magically available when a sufficient threshold of paranoia has been reached (be it the "terrorist threat", the "war on terror" ... or the war on swine)? They'll all in it together, Mate. The so-called "government" (for reasons already alluded to), the "media" (sells newspapers,
etc.) ... and (dare I say it?) the equipment manufacturers!
