Has anyone actually raised these issues with the MHRA? They could ensure that the company do a total recall or replacement of the faulty parts?

Oh, how we laughed! How could it be possible that they don't already know? What's that the other John says:- something about being Proactive? If these quangoes were really on the ball, rubbish wouldn't make it to market in the first place! And if hospitals were on the ball, they wouldn't purchase the rubbish that does make it there!
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

Hi all,
Has there been any further update from BBraun on this problem since September? Further, would anyone care to comment on other problems that are commonly seen, the availablity of post warrenty support, parts , etc. Have some clients looking for advice on future purchases and, I have to say, in theory at least the "Space" series looks quite good.
Ta, dave

Geoff, I would be very careful what you say, you are almost at the point of being slanderous I'd watch out for company contact soon ,and by the way, how much experience have YOU had with these pumps???

Thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to mind how I go. But, by the way, I would be interested to hear which part of the quote you disagree with? How much experience have I had? Enough to recognise junk when I see it!

Well we have just had an update from them reference Spares and the no longer available as a single part the 'Right Hand Hinge' for the perfusor. Now we have to order a kit that has PCA bits in it (No Bloody use to us as we have no PCA pumps), so we are paying for bits that will go straight in the bin. So much for being environmentaly responsible.
As we all know if the left is broken the right usually is aswell.
The clamps are 'brittle' and you should be able to get all the parts to repair these, the pin will be a sod to get out but it may stop us from putting the whole thing in the bin. Again not environmentally friendly. Billy
