Where?, Huw, I was in Thailand and missed the first grenade attack by one hour as we were having dinner in Sala Deang. After submitting documents the next day in a translation office we decided to go to Pattaya for 3 weeks giving Bangkok a miss.

All over the place. Although, we were in Silom a few hours before the Red Shirts took it. We saw them massing opposite the Dusit Thani and the police were closing the roads as we drove through.

I don't. It's a painful experience... (Especially in the Sukhumvit area - where the contraflow appears to change randomly.)

If there is a gap in either direction then it must be filled.

It's a "free fire zone" now ... now, that's what I call Law Enforcement! I have a theory connecting how "advanced" a country is ... by considering the state of "behaviour" on the roads. Mind you, it's not a whole lot of fun driving in England nowadays, is it? Frankly, I've even given up on flicking the finger* these days ... what's the point (and my hand was getting tired). My own pet hate (in the UK) are women in German cars (especially 4x4's) ... the ones usually about two feet from my rear bumper. White Audi's seem to be Flavour of the Month at the moment. What's your hurry (you stupid ****)? Rushing off to an early grave? I hope so ... that way the gene pool won't get even more polluted than it already is. That ... and the fact that every other heavy artic you see (usually nose to tail in convoy) has foreign (EU) plates. OK ... let me start right here the campaign to have left-hand drive artics banned from British roads. The Europeans can bring their junk as far as Dover (or better still, Calais) ... and then a British tractor unit can take it from there! I wonder if our new Transport Secretary (Minister) keeps an eye on the forum! * You know:- mirror, signal, manoeuvre.
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

Imagine how safe it is now! Fag in one hand, cell phone in the other, knee's doing the steering. no need for the brakes as the red stop light is only above one lane, therefore use the other lanes and don't stop.
