I way a good film a while ago about a bomb disposal expect

I hey that film about the bomb export.
Surprised nobody else exhibited it.
Called "The Hurt Locker"
umish probably calls it "The Pain Key" but WE know what he means.....

It's becoming famous for something else as well.

But ... never mind movies (who cares about them, anyway?) ... what about the real blokes?

Geoff - I was going to say "good call" on the real disposal guys, but it's not, it's a GREAT call. You know when you're in theatre, something vital is being titsy, the surgeon is yelling blue murder at you, and you dive in there to try and fix it before the patient dies..... and you start sweating because one wrong move and the patient is done for.

Imagine that - only you die, everyone in theatre dies, in fact most people on that floor die and several other floors are injured and maimed - oh, and if I didn't say it all ready..... you die too. One wrong move.

I couldn't do it.....

Meanwhile ... back to "Hints for Life". Maybe this guy has the answer!

OVERTIME MAY COST YOUR LIFE.

Working too hard could be killing you, researchers warn. A study has found that people who regularly put in extra hours at the office are 60% more likely to suffer heart disease and death.

Scientists have found those who often do a 10 or 11 hour day are at hugely increased risk.

The UK has the longest working of any EU country with Britons working an average of 40.1

A study of 6000 people has found that overtime is severely bad for the heart.

Workers who do it feel more stressed and have less time to unwind.

The study , led by Marianna Virtanen, an epiemilogist from University College, London, was on male and female British civil servants aged between 39 and 61.

They were monitored for an average of 11 years. In 369 cases people suffered heart disease that caused death, had a heart attack or developed angina.

Researchers found that even when age, overweight or smoking were taken into account, overtime was linked to a 56% to 60% increased risk of heart disease or dying compared with people who did not do any OVERTIME.
