Hi everybody.
Now when I turn on 840 ventilator machine, in the lower screen display the message: "Cannot setup patient. Ventilator malfunction.
Short self test is not allowed. Vent malfunction
BD POST failed."
And in the System Diagnostic Log, there is an error:
TEST EVENT CODE TYPE NOTES
Analog devices test KP0116 FAILURE PC:0x001F0F26 EV:0
NMI:0x00 Err Code:0x1F
Can anyone help me to solve this problem.

KP0116 as far as the training notes go says that the AI PCB needs replacing, because "critical analog data is out of range".

Sounds as if you have a big problem, not a small one! You will need to contact the local representatives. Puritan Bennett is now part of Covidien in the UK, so you will have to do a bit of detective work on the internet to find your local rep.
