Hi all!

Just got Datex Ohmeda CardiocapII device in hands and noticed it has serial output port in back.

According to some discussions and articles found googling it should be possible to get the data stored out to computer via this serial output.

Does anyone know if it is just a standard serial cable needed, or is there some custom pinout?

Any other things I should need to know when trying to get the data out? smile

Any pointers where to find manual for this one?

Thanks for all input!

Mikko

http://www.gehealthcare.com/usen/service...ts/support.html

Follow the link for Monitoring, then Life Support. The Cardio Cap 2 service manual can then be selected in the left column and downloaded.

That looks like a rich seam of manuals, Sean. smile

Nice to see that G.E. is being so "open source" about it all.

Yes Geoff, the powers that be at GE seem to be fairly enlightened when it comes to sharing the info.

If you spend time having a root around you can find a number of useful manuals for current models. Also fairly comprehensive documentation for obsolete bits of kit inherited when their original manufacturers were encompassed within GE.

Yes, I've had a quick look, and was quite surprised. I would urge anyone else in search of manuals to do likewise.

You know, just in case someone changes their mind and "restrictions" get put in place. smile
