We have recently had a number of these monitors failing to power-up or intermittently turning themselves off when in use.

If you should happen to suffer the same problem with one of these monitors it is most likely to be R936 (75Kohm) which has gone o/c.
It looks ok physically, no sign of overheating etc. and is located in the PSU area of the PCB.

Hope this helps someone else out there as we struggled to find the problem having been unable to obtain a circuit diagram or any service info.

Why is it so difficult to get a circuit diagram these days? I can remember when I wouldn't even buy a TV without a circuit diagram and set-up info, never mind medical equipment.

Thanks for the info, we have some of these but so far they have been very reliable.
