Dear all
I would be interested to hear from any departments that are calibrating Goldmann tonometers in house.
Regards
Bob..

Bob

Are these the Haag Streit ones from Clement Clarke?

If so yes, though CC seem unhappy about it despite us buying the Haag setting up tools from them!!

Hi Brian
That's the ones. Is it expensive to tool up for? I wouldn't mind having a chat re. the process.
Thanks
Bob..

Me too. We have always been given the impression that the calbiration tools and parts were not available to us.

Hi Brian ,

Is there a significant cost/service advantage via the in-house route then?
Can you quantify it, if so ?
Thanks

Steve

Hi guys,

Are you talking about the Test bar & prism?
Part No.:5811025.

If you are, this is not a tool related to calibration adjustments, merely for checking the tonometer.

More to the point, one would need the service details for calibration adjustment of the internals. Has anyone got this?

As with the Haag Striet slit lamps, does anyone possess the service manuals?

Jim

Hi Jim
We have the test bar, prisim and procedure to test the calibration of the tonometer. We are looking to see what is required to re-calibrate them when they fall ouside of this spec.
