I aware of the Rigel 288 Plus (and the hefty price tag that it carries).

Can anyone briefly outline the differences between the 288 and the 288 Plus (or do I need to sit down and check out the spec sheets)?

I believe the 288+ basically the same but some of the test can be carried out with the internal battery rather than haveing to connect ot the mains

No have 288 but researched both quite abit
