We currently have McKinley 545/575/595 that are due for replacement next financial year. We want to be looking at other manufacturers as we have been far from impressed with the McKinley support.

What other manufacturers should we be looking at? Got Hospira and Smiths on the list. Any others?

A few weeks back I had just this conversation with an old friend who is head of biomed at a major private hospital hereabouts. We both were dismayed to agree that we could not think of a single infusion pump supplier that we thought we could "recommend" to each other. The only comfort we could come up with was that neither of us had direct experience of Fresenious so at least had no opinion on that score.
What a sad state of affairs shrug

(others may and indeed probably will disagree)

Would highly recommend the Fresenius range, both technically and from company support perspective.

We are also currently looking for a new model.
We just have a quick presentation of the B Braun Perfusor® Space.
I'm in Canada but is available worldwide.

Well from what I have heard, both Mckinley and Braun are a bit pants. I hear Braun have outstanding issues with the MHRA and the current response is "we will do some more training", as if this will solve battery issues! Good luck, if you find anything good please let us know, as they seem rarer than the droppings of a rocking horse.

The only alert I find on MHRA is this one:

and it only concern the pole clamp.

In our trust we have Arcomed 5000/7000 series. Hospira A. Carefusion all series.

Regarding Arcomed never had bad customer support. Volumed 7000 are little tricky to work on. They do get broken down but easy to repair not very expensive to maintain.

Hospira had some issues. Got HMRA alerts. They seem quite fancy.

Love carefusion never had any customer support problem. Easy to maintain/repair/use.

Couple of months back we had T34 to repplaced ours MS26s. They seem good though.
