Has anybody got any recent experience of the Biomed courses at Eastwood Park, is the quality still as good as in the past?

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.

Hi all,

Yes RoJo it's Avensys Uk ltd. We have been developing and delivering courses in one guise or another for many a year. Avensys training are successfully delivering a whole range of accredited practical based medical equipment courses at our dedicated school in Kidderminster worcestershire, from level 3 to a medical engineering HND ( distance learning) onto an Hons degree. All courses can be seen via the link on the EBME home page ( when it comes around as this banner is shared) or www.avensysmedical.co.uk.

We are are currently offering buy one place get one half price or a 25 % discount across all courses.

Check out our alumni page to recognise any students who have been trained by avensys staff? Up until April 2013 it was Avensys delivering under contract all biomed courses at EP for the previous 6 years, we currently deliver the Kingston FD degree in medical technology ( medical pathway), so we are well versed in course delivery. Our new facility is ideally located central to the country, we will even deliver on site if asked.

Give us call....

Rob,

Are you saying you run Eastwood Park?, or that you run similar courses elseswhere......

Cause the last one of our guys who went there in January of this year, I was informed on his return that it was two weeks of total disaster!!!

They do not work out of Eastwood Park.
RoJo

I also notice from their courses they (Eastwood Park Training) are far more biased towards Estates than medical equipment - could that explain the quality of their courses?

Hi Skippy,

Avensys stopped delivering courses at EP April 2013. Our new facility builds upon our experience of delivering and developing biomed courses for other people over a period of 10 years, at Capital Medical ( 2002-2007) EP (2007-2013). All courses have been based upon the Arborfield (MoD) courses, which I had the privilege of both attending in the 1980's and delivering during 1990s.

Our advantage of course is having access to both modern medical and test equipment and vastly experienced old sweats (engineers) from the engineering and sales arms of the company.

Any student who wishes to discuss their options for tech training please call Avensys and ask for me directly, I am quite happy to personally take your call.

Geoff,

The EBME community could do with you and your experience (along with your tales), to help deliver some good old fashioned common sense training? Give me a buzz or pop up for a brew....
