Hi, I think we are probably going to need to know the make and model of the unit(s) concerned before any help could be offered. Can you provide some more detail?

Dave

Welcome to the forum, Jack. smile

As Dave mentions, when requesting any sort of technical help (not only on here, but in general), you shall always need to provide as much information as you can. The manufacturer, model and type of equipment at the very least.

In general, all chemistry analyzers have their own specific "QA sample" (usually) supplied by the manufacturer and (or) reagent supplier. In my experience, regular Quality Control (Assurance) is carried out (often daily) by the operator - lab technician - using the "QA sample".

Are you still wondering about the VegaSys? think

The simple answer for QC is - put a known value in, does it read it correctly, within acceptable limits?
As for calibration, in my experience, this is normally automatic as the machine flushes fluids through itself.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
