Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of a good company to send a spirometer for calibration. I have a quote from Williams Medical for £300 !

I currently maintain a MicroLoop Spirometer and own a calibrator from CareFusion as well. I wonder if you calibrate the MicroLab the same way with MicroLoop, If it's the same, I could do it for you. smile

This is the 3 Litre Calibration Syringe I use.

This unit was originally manufactured by Micro Medical Ltd. in Kent.

Unless it has been damaged, it should not need calibration as such - but rather a calibration check and a saving of the "cal" factors if within spec.

But yes, you will need a 3-litre calibration *syringe. smile

* The original Micro Medical part number for the syringe was SMI2125.

If you want to get really technical, there is (or at least, was) a Pressure Calibration Kit as well (part number CAL6000).

MicroMedical are now part of Carefusion.
Still the same products though.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
