Yes, T-Cut sometimes gives good results (although it can be a bit "aggressive").

Depending upon the material in question, Methylated Spirits can sometimes do the trick. It also has the redeeming feature of being cheaply available from your local hardware store!

Excellent stuff, as you would expect from H&H.

BTW: I assume that you already know that Vol 2 (1989) has been available on line as an 80 Meg .pdf for some years now.

I meant the 2nd.Edition, of course.

BTW (whilst I'm on here), I notice that in Chapter 9 of AOE3 H&H give a complimentary nod to the great Bob Widlar. Or, if you prefer a less "buttoned-down" approach, enjoy this piece about Bob.
