Yes, they're different markets; but why should the Big Boys care about market sectors with "limited" (tending to zero) profit margins? Whilst at the same time being lumbered with supporting (what they see as) "obsolete" equipment.

I doubt that any manufacturer is likely to sell used equipment; and even "as new" refurbishments are usually done by third-party companies. You'll be lucky if they even sell you parts (and don't even ask about "tech support").

Best to stick with donated equipment and (or) the auctions - or, if you must, the "dealers". smile

I can understand that for the big players this market is worth peanuts, but at least I've tried.
