Hi Geoff,

Yes, I believe it is still good practice to record serial numbers of test equipment to form the correct audit trail ( Well we do anyway and always have as far back as I can remember ). Believe it or not, it is only the one customer that regularly checks this with us but at least we have this process in place as and when it crops up

The M42 Greggs is also one of my favourite haunts as I head passed up North on my travels ha ha! wink

I cant remember the name of it but there is a services somewhere on route round the M25 that has more food outlets than you can shake a stick at. I've pulled in twice and left empty handed both times from being spoilt for choice! grin

I'm guessing by the lack of response to the ebme breakfast/lunch seminars idea, that maybe it's not worth pursuing any further?

Ah well, the thought was there... think

I would be up for it, any type of discussion or networking within our field is beneficial. No chance of getting the time off sadly. I would encourage it though and directly contact anyone in your network. Not enough networking within our work in my opinion.

"Discussion" and "networking" is what this forum is about ... or should that be "used to be about"?

We just don't seem to get the amount of participation that used to be the norm; so I'm guessing:-

1) Many of the "Old Timers" have retired (not that that's an excuse, IMHO)
2) Folk have lost interest, or have been attracted to "other media" (Twittering and WHY)
3) These days people are just too busy ... being busy (and hopefully, working)!

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
