Thanks to everyone who took the time to come to the ebme website stand at the 8th National biomed conference. Its always good to get a pat on the back. wink The feedback was very good, and i thought the standard of the speakers was also excellent. Thank you to Maggie Smith and Philips for all their hard work. smile

John

I have to agree with you that the standard of speakers was excellent. It shows respect for our profession that we can attract people like Lord Hunt and Prof Sue Hills to come and speak.

At first wasn't sure about the last speaker but it all fell into place. It was worth turning up just to see him.

I also would like to thank Maggie and the Philip's team for putting on a good show. Only slight complaint was the speed the milk disappeared from the jugs, i suppose black coffee isn't that bad.

It's funny 'cos I didn't think the last guy fitted in, but since Thursday a lot of what he said keeps coming back to mind.
You can't argue with the notion that if you feel valued you take pride in what you do, therefore the end result is improved.

I was telling everyone about the day and obviously got round to the last guy - but my secretary said that the cupboard was the only place for me and I wasn't to get any silly ideas about being let out any more than in the past. boggle

The whole day was excellent - the quality of the speakers and the presentations was outstanding. You're right Bioman that we should be proud to be able to attract speakers of that calibre to our conferences.

All highly relevant and highly motivating. A big thank you to the Steering Committee ! smile

Today is the day you worried about yesterday - and all is well !
