I have received an email from an overseas correspondent asking for the Level 3 Access Code for the BodyGuard 545 infusion pump. He needs to change the infusion rates etc.

I have spent an hour searching my old notebooks but have yet to turn it up.

Does anyone know of it (PM me if you prefer)?

OK, we got that one ... but if anyone has the various access codes for the 323 and 575 as well, that would be nice.

Access codes for BG 575 should be the same as the BG 545.

Thanks for that Steve.

It seems that variations (in these codes) may be encountered. I believe that one of them - and to be honest, I'm not sure which - allows the other codes to be altered.

I have heard stories about techs being entirely locked out of these pumps!

If that is indeed the case, I guess what we ultimately need is a method of clearing all access codes back to absolute (factory) defaults - whatever they may be. Can anyone shine any light on all that?

There is a master override code but is not given out.

Tech mode usually allows code changes. I guess ultimately the device could be returned to CME for reset.
