Let me briefly describe flukebiomedical's failed design. I may not understand the sense of luxury and advancedness they think.
NO1:
Use "soft shutdown" design, the battery uses NiMH battery. What I mean by "soft on/off" is that the motherboard is always powered by the battery, and the motherboard is in a low power state after shutdown。In normal use, we press the power button, which actually triggers the main board to pull down the level, and the main board is activated from the sleep mode.I think the premise of this design is to ensure that the motherboard consumes very little power in sleep mode, at least the battery is fully charged, and the power loss is very small (for example, 1%) when the motherboard is in sleep mode. If it consumes a lot of battery, it will fail.
But the actual 6000D or 7000, fully charged battery can only last about 1 month (standby)(new battery).
The next thing that makes people most angry is that when the charging adapter is used when there is no power, it cannot be turned on after it is fully charged (the red light turns to yellow light), and the battery needs to be separated from the motherboard. After reinstalling, it can be turned on successfully. In my opinion Seems like a reset action, but it doesn't do it automatically
NO2:
Strange structural design.
To take out the battery, first remove the upper cover (display and buttons) and then remove the main board to separate the connection between the battery and the main board. There is no special battery compartment design.
The bottom of 6000/7000D is a black metal plate.
The yellow plastic case is just to support the battery and connect to the motherboard.
The internal motherboard is mounted on a black metal bottom case.
So when we go out to use, if there is a regular collision during the handling process, the motherboard will actually resonate inside.(by regular bumps I mean normal movement shocks, not deliberate or accidental falls)
In order to make it easier to understand, I drew a picture by hand, I hope you can understand it
