Thanks for the suggestion Geoff,

I removed the battery and measured the voltage and it is reading fine so this may not be the issue,

In the meantime I am going to measure some components on the control board to see if I can find any dead zones

If you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them, otherwise I think I might try replacing the entire control board

Reuben, are we talking about the latest model VLFX8GEN or the early versions FX 8c etc ??

Yes its the latest FX8, YOM 2020, in line with the FT series( with the nice touchscreen interface haha)

We use the Datrend vPad-RF analyser for servicing our ESU's, does anyone have a test sequence for the Covidien FX8 (VLFX8GEN) they could send me?
