Yes; it seems that Fluke has discontinued the DPM-1B. I can only guess that the blokes who made them (the OEM) have called it a day. That's a pity.

But (as we know) that is not the only piece of good old test kit that has fallen by the wayside.

Perhaps we should encourage someone to start making them again ... or even the simple device as described by Richard.

I searched for a long time on the Internet? No similar calibrated syringe has been found.
Some of the prices are very expensive,Not suitable for general purchase and use.

I found that the monitor fixture seemed to be perfect for making a,Especially the tail screw.
I wanted to make one using common accessories, so I drew a sketch
This is my initial idea. If anyone has a better idea, please share it.

You may need a finer thread. And (perhaps) a locking mechanism.

Have you heard of Meccano?

As mentioned before, an old syringe pump with a threaded mechanism could form the basis of a "home grown" pressure generator.

Obviously, you shall also need Luer stopcocks. Plus a T fitting for the pressure gauge.

PS: I also searched the web (disappointment is my middle name).

It seems that many instruments have this function integrated into them.
However, this type of pressure calibration and regulating pump is rarely sold separately, and if it is available, the price is very expensive.[Linked Image]

I was once lucky enough to use a Druck in a customer's workshop. Very nice; including a serial port for data capture (and recording on a PC). All a bit "fiddly", though ... using HyperTerminal, or some such thing, for the recording routine. We were setting up occlusion pressures on volumetric infusion pumps.

It was really just a workshop based set-up. And, as you say, very expensive. Maybe justified if you're supporting hundreds of pumps in single locations.

Not much use for the "shade-tree" (travelling) biomed, then. Or even when out and about within a hospital campus. The DPM-1B plus "Luers" and bits of tubing fitted easily enough in the pockets of a lab coat!

Back to the screw thread version says I.

DPM-1B is a perfect solution. Unfortunately, DPM-1B has been discontinued. I haven't found any new manufacturers producing it. BIO-TEK seems to have produced it for a while.

I found this but don't know if it's on sale or if the price is reasonable

Well spotted; very DPM-1B like (has the same spec). Maybe Utah was (is) the OEM all along.

I see that they have a nice range of pressure monitor cables, as well.

I guess the internal structure should be like this.
It looks similar to some pneumatic components, I forgot the exact name

To be honest, as long as there is a micro-regulating valve below, the pressure gauge on the upper part is not important.Because there are many pressure gauges that can replace it[Linked Image]
