It's a long story!
The name changed last year because we had a management buy-out, cutting our direct links with Artema in Denmark (although we are still their official distributor in the UK).
We decided to keep the name similar to the old one because we had spent three years building a (good) reputation, and didn't want to have to start all over again with a new name!
This was excellent news for us in the UK because we can now make much quicker decisions (no faceless foreign committees) and take on new agencies without having to reference a 'parent' company - we've already taken on two new agencies since the beginning of the year (Masimo and Thermamed - have a look at our updated website!).
The Ratima incident was a nuisance (we didn't pay for that advert!!) - and thanks for the compliment - our aim is to give the best service and support of any UK equipment company!!
