My company is looking to develop some software for communicating with a PIIC iX in order to extract live vital signs data.

But getting access to a PIIC iX is difficult. It’s hard to find a clinical collaborator that is willing (or, actually, who’s IT and Biomed department are willing) to grant us access at their hospital.

We have tons of Philips patient monitors in our company lab. But they aren’t networked to a PIIC iX.

Anyone know if there is some kind of low-cost eval version of PIIC iX? Or some kind of online sandbox? Or some old used hardware/software we can purchase?

I’m struggling to see how we can achieve this, other than getting a research grant and a clinical collaborator.
