Hi All,

I hope you're all well.

We purchased two Medlight N-Line Pro full body UV dermatology cabinets just over a year ago. One of the cabinets is now faultywith a power problem whereby it won't switch on at all. I've checked all the first line bits, mains power, emergency stop switch not on etc etc with no luck. Sadly, the UK supplier that we bought them through, has gone bust. The closest support is a company in Germany who, because the cabinets are no longer under warranty, want to charge us an arm/leg for flights for an engineer, hotel accomodation all on top of parts and labour. So, does anyone have any information on any UK support or even better, a service manual so I can have a look at disassembly and repair myself?

Thanks

Jim

Nothing at all? No light on the display? Sounds like no power getting through at all, as you suggest.

Otherwise (as you probably already know) these things have sensors here there and everywhere ... door opening, and what-have-you. Some versions even need a PIN.

Good luck with that one, Jim. If I were you I would do a bit more digging before making any financial commitments. At least it sounds like you have another unit if comparisons need to be made.

PS: don't tell me ... the hospital didn't remember the need for a manual (circuit diagrams etc.) when buying these units. It seems like I have heard that drum banging for fifty-odd years!

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
