Unfortunately Seymour I work for the NHS and not the Sultan of Chique so the chances of my laundry being collected on a daily basis or everytime I soil myself are about the same as Mr van Nistelrooy receiving a Christmas card from Mr Wenger.

I'm sure in your bug free world the situation works perfectly well and is a positive approach to hygene.

However in the world I live in, and every other place on the island I have been, there are more impracticalities than possible benefits as mentioned earlier.

It's no use having a nice clean, well laundered Biomed standing at the patient's bedside if the Estates spark comes along to change a bulb wearing the boiler suit he was issued with the first day of his apprenticeship and probably the last time it was washed was one week after that.

Not a cop out, C of I and H & S are the responsibility of us all, and as I said earlier, if the uniform was meant as away to improve this then congratulations, however my point still stands, I think it is more of a badge of identity.

Hmm, That would be a German ventilatory type device would it? I'm interested in your opinion/experience, also is this equipment maintained by yourselves?

Only half the German Company engineers fix their own kit (the ones that are traditionally cheaper to employ cause their pension is crap, they get paid peanuts relatively speaking and pay tax on a car) - now they're far too paranoid to let the other half, working in the hospitals (who cost a mint to employ - until they're sent packing, do a runner and who're never given training cause they're "sooooo good"), fix it. Ah, you guys! I tought you would think that I had reptile like tendencies, but NO! There has been talk lately of introducing such devices in my department. I just wondered if you could provide some helpful and/or insightful comments on them above your usual and probably justified cynical paranoia
