110 Volts F&P Humidifiers can not be changed to 220 volts unless F&P supply you with the internal transformer of 220 volts which I really doubt. I have never seen a part number for the replacement of a 220 volt transformer in the part's list.

Try to contact F&P and ask. I personally, under any circumistances will not allow the use of a step-up transformer to any medical equipment that is connected directly to patients.

If your hospital policy does allow it, then you can attach an Isolated step-up transformer to the base of the unit's trolley provided it will not tip over.

Good Luck to you

Nonsense!

Of course they can be modified. Fisher & Paykel are not the only suppliers of transformers in the world! smile

@Laiq: have you got it done yet?

Check out the manual! smile

Pity that the circuit diagrams are missing though. Perhaps someone else can do better!

For all the hassle and time it will take it maybe easier to look at buying a used operational one.
Or even see if someone has a broken one you can have.

The Heator plate is also powered from AC mains. So you may need to change both. Heater plate Assembly 150W 230V P/N 043040695 and Transformer Assembly (MR700 series) 230V (double insulated) P/N 043041287

Dear Geoff
Thanks bro, i have checked thoroughly (without circuit diagram) Joy is right heater is 110V also, so impossible to modify it.
So currently i am stuck, whole lot is useless for time being.. :-(
Last option is to buy faulty 220V pcs or broken body pcs, then replace heaters & tansformers.
Thanks to all for ur feedback.

Yeah, sorry about that. The only other thing I can think of is to look out for a box of them at the auctions! smile

But (to be honest) they don't seem to turn up very often.

Dear Geoff
It was my mistake, i should not have bought USA made model, it should be UK made due to input voltage & my country supply voltage..
Dont worry i have many other uses, if i told u here so many will be marketting their products..
Thanks for your concern any way.. May ALLAH give u reward for this.
Thanks freind & brother for helping many like us in this forum.
Lots of prayers for u.
