Heres a crazy thing though:-

C&G 224 Radio and Television (hated by IEE)
ONC, HNC, HND, (Approved by IEE)
B.Eng Hons (IEE Dogs B&LL@#KS)

Having done all the above I gained nearly all my practical electrical/electronic (and most other "Relevent" skills) on the C&G 224 A great deal of the safety aspects that Joe's posting highlights used to be covered on the old C&G trade courses.

Bring back trade training... Theory sucks mad
