my reference to the sunspot min is becaisue my favourite bands are 10,12,15 and 20 mtrs although i do enjoy the 80mtr band too, but have never managed to have a decent antenna for anything below 40mtrs as i have always had small gardens
i may well try a loop in the future, i have been trawling ebay and have seen some good bargains, ft707's fav rig as well as the last model i owned previously ft430.
i think i will be back o n sometime in the next 3 to 6 months, i need to convert a corner in my garage as a shack
then get in touch with the RSGB and get my licence and hopefully old call sign back.
